I'm happy just to look at the beauty and ignore the ugliness. Most camellias are good about dropping their finished blooms, but I suppose this was spoiled by the rain. Maybe you can visit your neighbour with a pair of scissors. ;)
Apparently some Camellias seem to need constant deadheading and with their size and numbers in local gardens hardly anybody bothers in this chilly weather...but beauty shines anyway! ;)
