Primula praenitens



Primula praenitens does seem to like the micro climate of my cold and windy garden.

Mara, I think this one is worth trying if you stumble over it in one of the flower shops. They are hardier that advertised and really stunning in person. They do well for me in shady part of the garden as well as in the pots (with Camellias) in the sun. Primula praenitens does get quite big as a mature plant (the leaves can be huge!) so I had to yank some that took over the mixed plants pots.

;-) Cold and windy. Also slightly not in the mood? But I will try...there are some nice Helleborus blooming. :)
