Hi Arlene! It is "red apple" that Aiko had for lunch one day and there was a sprouting seed inside. The kid potted it . The little tree went through ups and downs of moving houses and horrible case of mildew but here it is blooming for us for the first time. When I saw the flowers my heart just jumped.
Aiko told everybody who would listen about the event! The tree grows in a big pot but I hope we may have one or two "wild" apples (there are only those few flowers so far). Oh, the blooms are very fragrant! :))

It's darling Malgorzata. What is it and which child planted it?

That's a wonderful story Malgorzata. Was Aiko as thrilled as you to see the flower? ODes that mean it will grow apples this year?
