Clematis 'Shirayukihime', I had to cut off the flower to take the picture. Most of the vines withered earlier in the season leaving two that have blooms high in the sky...
Arlene, some of my Group 2 Clematis grow very tall on an ugly 4m tall wall. I was hoping they would bloom along the whole height but probably because of lack of the direct sunshine they rocket to the top and bloom just there. I have to rethink that wall project and have to gather the power to junk the Group 2 altogether from my small garden.
